Donghae is a king of tears?

Super Junior’s cute member Donghae rose to the status as “king of tears” through his appearance on SBS Strong Heart (Kang Shim Jang) on the 13th.

During the show, this singer introduced himself as the king of tears while fellow Super Junior member Shindong added on to Donghae’s confession as the tear king.

According to Shindong, Donghae cries a lot and often gets very emotional. He said, “During the awards ceremony rehearsal stage, Donghae looked up at the ceiling and started tearing. I asked him, ‘Why are you crying?’ and he answered, ‘Our team members seem to be tired and losing their strength.’”

Additionally, Donghae also revealed that during the time when many of the Super Junior members couldn’t perform on stage together due to their own individual activities, he felt very sad and became teary eyed because he thought of his members like family.

Eunhyuk also continued talking about Donghae’s tears and said, “After Donghae came back from activities in China I asked him, ‘Activities in China are hard, right?’ and comforted him. He seemed touched by my comforting and started tearing while he washed his face. He kept saying, ‘Wait, hyung. Wait,’ even though I didn’t say anything,” causing laughter among guest members.

I think it was pretty cute that Donghae gets emotionally easily. Contrary to popular belief, I don’t think guys should be ashamed about crying. It was like as if we discovered another side of Donghae most of us didn’t know about.
